Welcome to PARKSIDE DUNDAS
Our new Website contains all our products for all the different scales and gauges that we produce for, as well as useful items from other manufacturers. We hope you find this new Website useful and an improvement on our previous site. This is all part of our continual programme of development, based on our experience and commitment to quality and not least by listening to our customers. Our aim is to provide you with a fully illustrated website, additional illustrations will be added as time permits.
We have developed, we sincerely hope, ranges of products that are straight forward to construct, faithful to the prototype and are dependable in running. We have worked hard to capitalise on our own experience and the freely given comments of our customers and hence we strive to produce products constantly improving in quality.
00 Gauge 4mm Scale
Our kits have plastic parts made in top quality material, manufactured to our specification. Where ever possible components are moulded in the same colour as the prototype part. Romford wheels, with brass bearings are included as standard. However we will glady exchange these for Alan Gibson wheels in 00, EM or 18.83, subject of course to availability.
Our kits broadly cover the period from the early 1920s until the present day. Most of the prototypes would be seen on BR in the classic years of the 1950s and 60s. We have aimed to produce a wide range of the rolling stock types that would commonly be seen on any main or branch line. Look at a photograph of a goods train in steam or early diesel days and you will see a great variety in the basic types of wagon on that train with say different types of coal wagons and vans from one or two of the old companies as well as BR examples. Since is the authentic railway scene we can help you to recreate.
